TEST FIND UNSAFE
LEVELS OF LEAD!!!

  • Tests on water from Ikebana vases holding lead pinfrogs.

  • The water used was bottled and not tap water.

  • The water for TEST 1 contained flowers and was sampled after 1.5 weeks.

  • The water for TEST 1 had been topped off with fresh water as needed by the flowers.

  • The water for TESTS 2 & 3 were left sitting with Lead pinfrog for 1.5 weeks.

  • The testing kits were provided by Clean Water Lead Testing Inc.

  • The samples were tested by the Environmental Quality Institute.

RESULTS:

National Lead levels in drinking water are required to be below 15 parts per billion (PPB) to be considered safe.

The Environmental Quality Institute states that anything above 30 parts per billion of lead in drinking water is considered "severely contaminated".

  • TEST 1 -  4353 ppb

  • TEST 2 - 4,006,000 ppb

  • TEST 3 - 2,062,000 ppb

Pounder Mfg. has manufactured stainless steel pinfrogs as a safe alternative so that the consumer may have a choice regarding the products they use.

These test results are meant to inform the public and as a tool for awareness and decision making.

DECAY PROOF

  • 100% stainless steel construction
    will NOT degrade.

  • Eliminate unsightly corrosion, tarnishing and degraded appearance caused by leaded pinfrogs.

leaded pinfrog after 10 uses

  • NOTE: Understandably, flower vase water is not for drinking, but toddlers do knock things over and pets will drink almost anything.

THE WORLD'S FIRST
100% STAINLESS STEEL PINFROG

  • The majority of pinfrogs produced come from Asia or Mexico and use LEAD as a metal for their bases.

  • Pounder Mfg. is proud to be the first pinfrog manufacturer to offer a 100% stainless steel pinfrog as a SAFE and WORRY-FREE alternative.
